Information here is not legal advice.
Articles, FAQ entries, fee descriptions, statute summaries, and practice-area pages on this site describe Kentucky law and the firm's services in general terms. They do not account for the specific facts of any reader's situation, do not constitute legal advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a Kentucky-licensed attorney engaged on your matter.
Statutes change. Case law evolves. Your facts are different from the facts a general explainer assumes. Read this site for orientation; engage the firm — or another Kentucky-licensed attorney — to apply the law to your situation.
No attorney-client relationship until the engagement letter is signed.
Visiting this site, sending an email through a link on it, calling the firm, or submitting an intake or referral form does not create an attorney-client relationship with Johnson Legal PLLC. Under SCR 3.130(1.18), you are at most a prospective client until the firm has completed a conflict check and you and the firm have both signed a written engagement letter.
Until that step, the firm asks you to share only general information. Do not send privileged details, sensitive documents, or evidentiary materials before the firm has confirmed it can represent you. Information transmitted before the relationship is formed is governed by Rule 1.18 (limited duties to prospective clients), not Rule 1.6 (full confidentiality).
Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.
Where this site describes the firm's practice areas, experience, or examples of completed matters, those descriptions are background only. They are not promises or predictions about how your matter will be handled or resolved. Every matter is different; the law, the facts, and the parties drive the outcome.
Kentucky-only practice.

If your matter requires representation in a state other than Kentucky, the firm can refer you to qualified counsel in that jurisdiction.
